DTN COMMENTS:  Some light scattered business is being reported in Texas 
and Kansas this morning at fully steady money with yesterday's dealings. 
But bids in other areas are hard to find at this point. Asking prices are 
around $220-plus in the South, but still not fully established in the 
North. Yesterday saw a light trade in Kansas and Texas at $218 to $220, 
steady to $2 higher than last week's weighted averages. 

Beef cutouts are higher at midday (choice 346.10 +1.43, select 333.91 
+0.94) with light to moderate box movement (39.76 lds of choice cuts, 
6.68 lds of select cuts, 8.82 lds of trim, and 11.45 lds of ground), with 
a choice/select spread of $12.19. Near the noon hour live cattle futures 
are moderately to sharply lower while feeder contracts are sharply lower.
